Laser Hair Removal
Effective hair removal for all skin types! Our Diode Lasers use an intense pulsed light for a fast, gentle and more comfortable treatment. This is the first technology to effectively remove hair of all colors excluding light blonde, white and gray (which we offer Electrolysis for). We are able to remove and selectively target dark hairs while leaving the skin undamaged. We are able to treat each hair within a fraction of a second and sections like the upper lip can be treated in less than 10 minutes.

Benefits of Laser Hair Removal
Long-Term Hair Reduction:Laser hair removal provides long-lasting, permanent results with SAHA's Emvera Diolux Laser and Ellman Cheveux™ Laser systems. Many clients experience a significant reduction in hair growth after a series of treatments, with some achieving permanent hair reduction.
Precision: Our lasers target dark, coarse hairs with precision while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. This makes it ideal for treating areas with precise contours, such as the upper lip, bikini line, and underarms.
Speed: Each laser pulse takes only a fraction of a second and can treat many hairs simultaneously.
Reduced Ingrown Hairs: Unlike shaving or waxing, laser hair removal reduces the occurrence of ingrown hairs. The laser destroys the hair follicle, preventing the hair from growing back and curling into the skin.
Minimal Discomfort: While some individuals may experience mild discomfort during the procedure, it is generally less painful than waxing. Our Emvera Diolux Laser and Ellman Cheveux™ Laser systems have cooling features to minimize discomfort.
Smoother Skin:After laser hair removal, the skin feels smoother compared to other hair removal methods that can leave the skin with stubble or irritation.
Improved Skin Texture: Regular laser hair removal sessions can improve the texture of the skin in the treated areas, as it reduces the likelihood of skin irritation and razor bumps.
Cost-Effective Over Time: While the initial cost of laser hair removal may be higher than other methods, it can be more cost-effective in the long run. The reduction in hair growth means less frequent need for other hair removal methods.
-
Cleansing:The treatment area is cleansed to remove any dirt, oil, or makeup.
Protective Gear:We will give you protective eyewear to shield your eyes from the laser light.
Application of Cooling Gel: To ease any discomfort, we provide cooling gel or a cooling device may be applied to the skin to help reduce discomfort and protect the skin.
Laser Application: The aesthetician will use a handheld laser device to deliver laser pulses to the treatment area.
The laser emits a concentrated beam of light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair follicles.
The absorbed light energy converts to heat, damaging the follicles and inhibiting future hair growth.
Post-Treatment Care: After the procedure, SAHA uses a soothing lotion on the treated area to reduce any redness or swelling.
-
Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect the treated area from direct sun exposure and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.
Avoid Heat and Friction: Avoid hot showers, saunas, and vigorous physical activity for 24-48 hours post-treatment to minimize irritation.
Moisturize: Keep the treated area moisturized to soothe the skin and promote healing. We recommend SkinSripts Light Moisturizer.
Avoid Harsh Products: Refrain from using skincare products containing retinoids, AHAs, and BHAs for a few days after the treatment.
Shedding: Hair in the treated area may appear to grow for a few days to weeks following the treatment. This is the shedding process, where the treated hairs fall out.
Avoid plucking or waxing the hair in between sessions.

Multiple sessions (typically 6-12) are usually required for optimal results. Treatments are spaced 4-6 weeks apart to target hair during its growth phase. Our skilled and knowledgable aestheticians at SAHA will help you create a treatment plan to achieve your ideal results.

Avoid Sun Exposure: Avoid sun exposure and tanning (including artificial tanning methods) for at least 4-6 weeks before the treatment, as tanned skin can increase the risk of side effects.
Avoid Other Hair Removal Methods: Refrain from waxing, plucking, or electrolysis for 4-6 weeks before the treatment. These methods remove the hair follicle, which is needed for the laser to be effective.
Shave the Treatment Area: Shave the area to be treated 24-48 hours before the appointment. Shaving leaves the hair shaft intact below the skin, allowing the laser to target the follicle.
Avoid Certain Products: Discontinue the use of skincare products that contain retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), and beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) for a few days before the treatment.
